REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATION

1. Two official documents of scholarship (if available). (The document must be uploaded to the system.)
2. Curriculum Vitae. (The document must be uploaded to the system.)
3. Letter of intent. (The document must be uploaded to the system.)
4. Two Reference letters. (The document must be uploaded to the system.)
5. Two copies of transcript (Original and photocopy). Master program applicants must submit Bachelor’s Degree transcript; PhD program applicants must submit both
Bachelor’s and Master Degree transcripts. The original documents will be checked by the related Institute or School and the photocopies of the documents will be
approved.
6. Foreign Language Exam score or TOEFL exam score document (Required for the PhD students). There must be a control code on the printed document from the webpage
of ÖSYM. For International Students the original copy of the exam result is required. (The document must be uploaded to the system.)
7. Two photographs. (The document must be uploaded to the system.)
8. Two photocopies of passport. (The document must be uploaded to the system.)
9. Two copies of both diploma and certificate of graduation (Original and photocopy). The original documents will be checked by the related Institute or School and the
photocopies of the documents will be approved. (The document must be uploaded to the system.)
10. Registration Document: In addition to the application documents, Residence Permit should be delivered in 2 months.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

1. International students must submit the above documents personally or by post to the School. Deadline for the submission is Agustos 21, 2020. Submission documents
must be received before the application deadline.
2. Applicants for master or PhD programs having a diploma from foreign countries must submit the Turkish language proficiency exam score (B2) certified by Turkish
Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) in Mersin University or the other universities. Otherwise students must start their education with Turkish preparatory
class.
3. International students are required to hold a Bachelor’s Diploma or Master Diploma; Applicants for PhD Proficiency and Proficiency in Art programs must obtain a minimum
score of 55 on the KPDS/ÜDS/YDS/YÖKDİL in a language except for their native languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese,
Japanese and Persian) or an equivalent score on an exam accepted by the Interuniversity Council.

REQUIRED ENROLLMENT DOCUMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT WHO'S SUBMISSION ARE APPROVED

1. Notary certified Turkish translation of submitted application documents.
2. Application fee receipt.
3. Original or notary certified copy of student visa obtained from foreign representatives.
4. Residence permit for educational purpose.
5. Education annotated VISA (not required for holder of residence permit for educational purpose).
PS
1. Application documents will not be given back. Application fee cannot be refunded after the registration.
2. Departments may require Scientific Preparatory Program for applicants who have diploma from a different discipline/program. For further information and specific
requirements please check the web page of concerned department.
3. For transfer applications please check the Article 10 of Mersin University Rules and Regulations Governing Graduate Studies.
4. TOEFL score of the candidates must be controlled by the School. ETS (Educational Testing Services) holding the exam will send the original document of score to
universities if it is demanded from ETS by candidates. For this reason, candidates must demand it from ETS before the application deadline, hence the original documents
of candidates will be sent to the School. Candidates must use the Institution code 8778 while demanding them from ETS.
5. Applicants must submit transcripts in 100 point grading scale. If not, graduation score of the applicants will be converted to 100 point grading scale with reference to
Turkish Council of Higher Education, YÖK.
6. If candidates do not register between announced dates, their acceptance will be canceled.
